The 1st COVID – 19 positive patients from Nowgam area of Anantnag has recovered. The said patient after going through treatment at GMC Anantnag was today sent for home quarantine in presence of DM Anantnag, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Dar, Principal GMC Anantnag, Dy.

CMO Anantnag and Superintendent, District Hospital Anantnag after he tested negative for the said disease.

The recovered patient while talking to media said that he is thankful to firstly Almighty Allah and then to the district administration, for his recovery from the deadly disease dding that the district administration is serving Covid , patients round the clock, tirelessly. He further said that he is hopeful that all such patients will recover soon, as he did. However, he advised people to stay homes and maintain physical distance to avoid the infection.

While briefing the media, the DM Anantnag said that district administration is highly equipped to tackle the situation. He hoped that all the COVID – 19 patients will recover soon.

Meanwhile, the DM appealed people to stay home and prevent themselves from the said infection.
