4 persons held, vehicles seized for illegal extraction & transportation of minerals in Baramulla

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday seized 4 tipper and arrested four persons for involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Kunzar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A Police spokesperson said that Police under the supervision of Javid Ahmad-JKPS SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr Nisar Ahmad, SHO PS Kunzer during routine patrolling at Ferozpora Nallah Kunzer seized 4 Tipper on spot and arrested 4 persons namely Shabir Ahmad Chopan S/O Habibullah Chopan R/O Ganiwani Kunzer, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohd Sultan Bhat R/O Lalpora Kunzer, Aamir Ahmad Reshi S/O Ab Ahad Reshi & Mohd Altaf Malik S/O Gh Mohi Din Malik residents of Pariswani Kunzer who was involved in illegal excavation/ transportation of minerals from Ferozpora Nallah Kunzer.

He said that case FIR under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Kunzer.
