Reasi, Jan 26 : In compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, the 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, dignity and patriotic fervour at the District Court Complex, Reasi, on Sunday, reaffirming commitment to constitutional values, justice and the rule of law.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, As per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, 77th Republic Day was celebrated in District Court Comples, Reasi today i.e on 26th January, 2026 with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The even commenced with the unfurling of the National flag by Mr.Khalil Choudhary, Worthy Principal District & Sessions Judge, Reasi who greeted the gathering on this occasion and also highlighted the importance of this day.
The program was attended by Ms.Geeta Kumar CJM, Reasi, Ms.Pooja Gupta, Secretary DLSA Reasi, Ms.MehajbeenAkhter, Chairperson JJB Reasi, Ms.Shivali Sharma, Munsiff Reasi, Ms.Aastha Sharma, Addl. Spl. Mobile Magistrate Reasi, Prosecuting Officers of District Court Reasi, Sh. PawanDev Singh, President Bar Association Reasi along with the members of the Bar Association Reasi, Chief LADC along with Deputy and Assistant LADCs and with their staff members, staff members of both District Court Reasi and District Legal Services Authority Reasi and Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA Reasi, Ex Servicemen, teachers and students of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi and Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Reasi who participated in the program, esteemed guests from different departments of District Reasi. A series of cultural activities were performed by the students, advocates and PLVs such as dance and patriotic songs.
Thereafter, a felicitation ceremony also got organized wherein Principal District & Sessions Judge Reasi along with Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi and Secretary DLSA Reasi distributed trophies and certificates to all those who actively cooperated and participated in celebration of 77th Republic Day thereby making it a great success.
At the end of the Program, Vote of thanks was conveyed by Ms.Pooja Gupta, Secretary DLSA Reasi to Pr. District & Sessions Judge Reasi, CJM Reasi, Chairperson JJB Reasi, Munsiff Reasi, Addl. Spl. Mobile Magistrate Reasi, Bar President and members of the Bar Association Reasi, Prosecuting Officers, LADCs team, staff members, PLVs, teachers and students and representatives of Police department, Municipal Council Reasi, J&K Bank Reasi, PNB Reasi, Floriculture department Reasi, PDD Reasi, PWD Reasi, Information Department Reasi, CRPF and Salal Power station.
