Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan has felicitated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In his message of felicitations, Advisor Khan expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would usher a new era of peace, amity, harmony, progress and prosperity in J&K.

The Advisor observed that Raksha Bandhan is a unique representation of India’s cultural ethos, symbolizing the special bonds between brothers and sisters.

He also appealed people to celebrate the festival while following health guidelines and safety protocols to stop the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Advisor Khan also prayed for the well-being of the people of J&K.
