Srinagar, Sep 17 : Security forces on Saturday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Hathlanga area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. 
An official told that based on a specific intelligence input by agencies regarding presence of cache of arms and ammunition in area of Hathlanga Uri. 
“The joint parties of Baramulla Police and Army 3 Rajput today launched search operation in wee hours near Hathlanga area of Uri sector including Hathlanga nallah which led to the recoveries including one AK-47 Rifle, one AK Magazine and 28 rounds of AK 47 Ammunition, ” he said. 
“Case under Indian Arms Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigation set in motion,” the official said.
