Srinagar, July 31(KNS): A group of young political workers from Srinagar’s Batmaloo constituency, on Monday, joined Apni Party during an event organised at the party headquarters at M2, Church Lane, in Srinagar.

The joinees included Danish Khan, Irfan Malik, Fayaz Khan, and others. Party’s senior leader and Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir gave them a warm welcome into the party fold, a press note said.

On this occasion, Mir addressed the new members, providing them with an overview of the party’s goals and principles, saying, “Apni Party has basically been established to protect the fundamental and constitutional rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We will always stand by our people, even in difficult times, as we did post-August 2019, when the entire erstwhile state was under great chaos and uncertainty.”
