EID IS HELD TO CELEBRATE THE END OF SACRIFICE & TO REMEMBER THE REWARDS OF LORD

Philosophical meaning of Eid is pleasure, every school of thought in Islam believes that the day when mankind especially muslim ummah is blessed is called the most important day or in other words the day of pleasure. Thoughts regarding the celebration can be different but the reason of Eid is same. Eid aims to address peace and spread pleasure in surroundings, by one or the other way. Prophet Mohammad (Pbuh) once in an address directed his companions towards the humanitarian ideas by saying “The best among you are those who spread peace prosperity and confession among each other. Within a society nowadays people call Eid a day to celebrate as a religious holly day. But by the origin it is the day of care and cure, it is the day to remember sacrifices, the day to attend the job and duety we are given this concept of Eid is same everywhere

This day to celebrate the supreme sacrifice
of the ancient prophet Abraham
This day to ponder and reminisce
that divine substitution of Ismail for a ram. This Quranic and biblical factual story
shall never diminish in its age-old glory.
And now for the sake of mutual unity and festivity
first let all of humanity
release their doves of peace
and let them fly freely, unprovoked, unrestrained
with olive branches in their beaks.
such that when angels who predicted
forever feuding humans
look down they see instead
6 billion or more two fingers up
in a huge mass of humanity
signalling for and meaning to keep the peace!!!!!!

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from sun up to sundown to honor the month that the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed. Eid al-Fitr celebrates the end of the month—and the end of the fasting. Eid al-Adha commemorates the sacrifice made by the prophet Ibrahim, Muslims typically celebrate the festival by carrying out a Qurbani, meaning “sacrifice” in Arabic. The animal that is sacrificed – which is usually a goat, sheep, cow or camel – is separated into three parts. Both the Eids say that we are celebrated at the end of every sacrifice when we are rewarded or in other words we say Eid is held to celebrate the end of pains and to remember the rewards of Lord. The given lines teach us the meaning and aim to celebrate Eid.
