Bajrang Punia has won his second consecutive Commonwealth Games gold by winning the 65kg final.

Later, Sakshi Malik pinner her opponent to win the women’s 62kg title and secure India’s second wrestling gold.
Deepak Punia then made it three for India by beating Pakistan’s reigning gold medallist Muhammad Inam in the men’s 86kg final.
Meanwhile, Anshu Malik lost the women’s 57kg final and settled for silver.
Divya Kakran (68kg) and Mohit Grewal (125kg) have both won bronze,
thus taking India’s total medal tally in wrestling to six.
So far in Birmingham 2022, India has won 26 medals including 9 Golds, 8 Silvers, and 9 Bronze medals.
