Bakshi Colony Bemina areas get unsafe water, PHE in slumber

The inhabitants of Bakshi colony Bemina on Wednesday expressed resentment against the authorities for getting contaminated water from past several days.

They said PHE officials visited the area and assured them to provide safe drinking water but after that, no one turned up to address the sufferings of people.

Mushtaq Ahmad, a local said despite paying of water bills regularly they are getting unsafe water from the past several days.

 Another resident, Ali Mohammad said alleged the authorities of turning a deaf ear to a long time and repeated requests.

The residents appealed the higher authorities of PHE to look into the matter.

However, a senior official at PHE told that they would look into the issue and assured that it would be resolved till Thursday evening
