Senior BJP Leader Basit Hayat Zargar said , SP Hazratbal Shri Mashkoor demonstrated exceptional leadership and bravery during the recent fire emergency in which a building caught fire at Hazratbal opposite KU ( Kashmir University.
His quick thinking and effective management ensured that the fire was contained and no lives were lost.
As soon as the fire was reported, SP Hazratbal Shri Mashkoor rushed to the scene with his team, and immediately took charge of the situation. He ensured that the area was cordoned off and the necessary resources were mobilized to tackle the fire.
Basit added , Under his guidance, all the other officers like SDPO Zakura ( Shri. Showkat Ahmad ) ( JKPS ) , Other SHO’s and the firefighters worked tirelessly to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings. He also ensured that the residents of nearby buildings were safely evacuated and provided with temporary shelter.
SP Hazratbal Shri Mashkoor’s calm and composed demeanor throughout the emergency situation helped to prevent panic and chaos among the residents. He kept the public informed about the situation and provided regular updates on the progress of the firefighting efforts.
Zargar in his statement said Thanks to his leadership and effective management, the fire was brought under control within a few hours, and no casualties were reported. SP Hazratbal Shri Mashkoor’s exemplary performance during the emergency is a testament to his commitment to public safety and his dedication to his duties as a police officer.
