Hailing the BJP led government at Central and UT level, senior party leader Basit Hayat Zargar said “BJP Government has undone the wrongs committed by former governments and has made our nation one of the foremost World Leaders today.”
He further said, “BJP has truly upheld the Democratic ideals of India while earlier Governments have only passed them as mere words. The hassle-free completion of Bharat Jodo Yatra by Opposition Party Leader Rahul Gandhi establishes the nation is peaceful and democratic under BJP government, it respects the opposition and provides all necessary means of security to fulfil legally permissible campaigns.”
He asked people not to pay heed to the unfounded claims made by Rahul Gandhi in London as his remarks were not only distasteful but potentially false.
Commending the abrogation of Article 370, Zargar said, “The foresight of PM Modi to bring J&K at par with other states has been manifested through the abrogation of Article 370. People of J&K can see for themselves the positive changes brought out in the socio-political-economical map through progressive decision making of the BJP led Central Government as well as the J&K administration.”
“Since the removal of Article 370, J&K is heading towards establishment of true Democracy as well. Undoing the past wrongs and advancing the development pace may take some time but with the ideals of PM Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, and determination of J&K administration, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing unprecedented development in every sector,” he said adding that people of J&K will not be led away by the opposition narratives as they have full confidence in their Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is leading the world’s largest democracy and its over 130 crore people to Amrit Kaal.
He stressed that never before in J&K, any government has decided to uplift the minorities living in discriminatory conditions, and that the BJP is the only party which has worked for social justice and the empowerment of all under-represented and underserved communities in J&K
“BJP’s efforts have helped the people of J&K to avail benefits of numerous policies and schemes ranging from education and employment, to Minority upliftment and social welfare, and maintain peace in the region. It is under the BJP government that reservation benefits have been extended to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe communities in political representation, government education, services and promotions that were earlier difficult to implement because of the Article 370. Gorkhas, Valmikis, Gujjar Bakerwals, Pahadi speaking people are benefiting immensely and more benefits for these and other sections of the society are in the pipeline,” he asserted.
Further, Zargar said, “Under the guidance of PM Modi, J&K has witnessed growth in various sectors including tourism, industries, livelihood generation, sports, education, healthcare and number of measures are being taken to improve services for the people. We can evidently see that the progress of projects being implemented in Jammu and Kashmir under the Prime Minister’s Development Package-2015 has been accelerated. Efforts are being made to create employment and recruit our youth as announced by our Lieutenant Governor in his speeches recently.”
He added, “Today, common man is central to the decision making process unlike under the earlier governments where J&K’s administration was running at the whims and fancies of some handful of people with vested interests. People of J&K have understood the cons of Dynasty politics and I’m hopeful that they will wholeheartedly welcome the BJP government again for they believe in PM Modi’s able leadership for J&K.”
Basit Hayat Zargar urged the people of J&K to continue supporting BJP for a politics of change which is synonymous to development, peace and harmony.
