Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and chief of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to convert Muslim majority state into a minority.
PDP chief while reacting on delimitation report said that this is the same process like earlier BJP did in scraping the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, now the same party is politically changing the demographics of J&K.
“This all is being done in order to change the Muslim majority state intoa minority by using this delimitation process.”Mehbooba further said that conducting election is not an option keeping the current situation in mind where people are facing crisis.Pertinently, She visited Sogam to offer condolences with Qaiser Jamsheed Expressing solidarity with the Lone family, PDP cheif prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved to bear the loss.
