Jammu, Jan 10: Chairing a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called for collective efforts from all government departments to prioritize transparency, accountability, and swift implementation of plans.

The meeting, attended by administrative secretaries of various departments, focused on setting achievable benchmarks within two key timeframes—100 days and one year. Each secretary presented a detailed vision document outlining major policy decisions, project completions, and the initiation of new development programs.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of delivering results within stipulated timeframes and urged all departments to work in tandem to meet the outlined objectives. “Transparency and accountability must be at the core of our governance, ensuring public trust while accelerating development across the region,” he stated.
The review also highlighted the need for robust monitoring mechanisms to ensure timely execution and effective delivery of public services. The meeting marks the government’s commitment to responsive and people-centric administration in Jammu & Kashmir.
