CM Omar Abdullah Reviews Snowfall Preparedness, Visits Ganderbal District Hospital

Srinagar, December 28,KPen:Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chaired a high-level meeting today with the Divisional and District Administration, including the Divisional Commissioners of Jammu & Kashmir and all Deputy Commissioners, to review the aftermath of recent snowfall. The meeting focused on snow clearance operations, restoration of power, and water supply across the region.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need for swift and coordinated efforts to ensure uninterrupted essential services for the public. He directed all departments to remain on high alert and expedite measures to minimize disruptions caused by the snowfall.

In a subsequent visit to the District Hospital in Ganderbal, CM Abdullah assessed the state of healthcare services in the region. He interacted with hospital staff and patients, ensuring adequate medical facilities and resources were available, especially during the challenging winter season.

The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to addressing public grievances and ensuring essential services remain operational despite harsh weather conditions.
