Tamil Nadu,  a very poor pregnant lady, enduring labour pains with great difficulty reaches the district hospital 7km away.   The doctors said only C sec can be done & will require 1unit of  blood for the mother, but was unavailable bcoz of covid 19 lockdown.  The husband steps out in desperation to arrange for blood.
He is questioned by a police constable for breaking lock down rules…  After hearing the story, the constable says… I’am of the same blood group & agrees to donate the blood.  The delivery takes place & both mother & the infant boy are  safe & sound.
The SP after hearing the story… rewards the constable with ₹1000/-  DGP of TN hears the story & gifts him ₹10,000/-  The 23 yr old constable Syed abutahir in turn gifts the entire 11k to Sulochana the mother for the hospital bills. SOURCE  `indiatoday.in`
