Continuing its efforts to contain the spread of COVOD-19 the Rural Development Department Kulgam, today organized a distribution programme where thousands of masks and disinfectants were distributed among BDC’s, Sarpanchs and Panchs of block Devsar.
The distribution was carried out at mini-secretariat Kulgam in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat.
BDC’s and Sarpanchs will distribute these masks among the people in their respective areas and disinfectants are to be sprayed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner urged the PRI members to ensure social distancing in their areas and underlined their important role in containing the spread of this dreadful disease.
Present on occasion were, ADDC, ADC, ACR, DPO and other officers.
