Authorities Saturday sealed Central Mosque in a Bandipora area that is being declared as hot spot for Covid-19 infection.
Sources told that on the directions of district administration, Tehsildar Bandipora, sealed Markazi Masjid Sharif at Gund Qaisar village. The village has been declared as hot spot for the spread of Covid-19 infection.
The district has already crossed 100 mark as new 7 positive cases surfaced in the district on Saturday. Bandipora has now 115 positive cases wherein 89 are Active Positive, 18 recovered and 1 has died.
Gund Jahangir and Gund Qaisar are badly hit areas.
Out of 494 positive cases, 397 are Active Positive, 92 have recovered and 5 have died in Kashmir Valley. (KNT)
