The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, today conducted an extensive visit to inspect the status of BSNL 4G towers installed at Kanidajan, Nagbal and Yousmarg areas under the 4G saturation project.

During the visit to Nagbal, Kanidajan, the DC directed BSNL & line departments to coordinate closely and ensure that all teething issues on ground which are holding back the final operationalisation of towers are resolved in a time bound manner for ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for the local population.

The DC also visited the BSNL tower site at Yousmarg wherein the telecom connectivity was tested successfully.
After the installation of these towers the people as well as the tourists visiting these places shall be able to stay connected through the required telecom infrastructure.
