DC Jammu takes stock of arrangements for returnees at Railway Station

JAMMU, MAY, 14 2020

Deputy Commissioner, Sushma Chauhan visited Railway Station Jammu and took stock of the mechanism put in place for the upcoming trains carrying stranded people of Jammu and Kashmir from other parts of the country.

She was accompanied by Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South, Shrikant Suse, SP South, Vinay Sharma besides SSP Railway, Arif Rishu, SDPO Railway, Amita Pawar, ASP Railway, A.H Munshi and other concerned officers.

The DC took round of the platform and inquired about the arrangements being put in place there. It was informed that data entry operators have been deployed to record the necessary details of the passengers at the platform. Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to ensure the registration of all passengers.
