District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode today visited Bhaderwah and took stock of the facilities being put in place for the convenience of the persons/migrants quarantined in various locations in Bhaderwah.
During the inspection DDC visited the administrative quarantine centre established in university campus Bhaderwah and interacted with the inmates and enquired about the facilities which are being provided to them besides also enquired about their status of sample collection. The inmates informed the DDC that their samples have already been taken and administration is taking care of their basic necessities with utmost care.
The DDC asked them to extend full cooperation with the administration in fight against deadly virus to combat its spread. The DDC said as soon as their reports will come, they will be discharged accordingly subject to the fact if they are reported negative.
Further DDC inspected the community kitchen and enquired about its functioning. He directed the designated team to ensure hygeinic and nutritious food shall be delivered to the inmates on regular basis.
Meanwhile, the DDC also inspected the ongoing snow clearance work on Bani Basholi road and directed the executing agencies to complete the snow clearance work under the fixed timeline. He also asked them to follow necessary SOP’s, maintaining social at work sites.
Others who accompanied the DDC during the visit were ADC Bhaderwah, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Technical Officer PHE department Doda, EO MC Bhaderwah, Food Safety Officer Doda besides other officials of district administration.
