DDC Samba reviews functioning of District e-Governance Society

District Development Commissioner Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting of District Board members of DeGS (District e-Governance society) and Citizen Services Centers operated by Village Level Entrepreneurs, here today. In the capacity of the Chairman of DeGS, Sharma focused on evaluating the functioning of the e-Governance Society.

Taking a detailed review of the online citizen generic services provided by Government of Jammu &Kashmir to the citizens, Sharma directed the District Board members and Village Level Entrepreneurs to spread mass awareness about the online services offered by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.Particular attention was given to addressing concerns related to the overcharging of services rates. Sharma emphasized the importance of fair pricing and warned the entrepreneurs against any practices that could lead to overcharging. The DDC urged them to ensure transparency in the service rates to maintain public trust.
