Delhi Govt vs LG: Supreme Court Constitution Bench Holds Delhi Govt Has Legislative Power Over “Services” Excluding Public Order, Police & Land

The supreme court today held that the Delhi government has control over administrartive services in the national captial, excluding matters realting to public orders, police and land.

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that day-to-day administration of IAS and joint cadre officers posted in Delhi shall be with the Delhi government.
