Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Wednesday advised police against attacking the families of the militants.

She was addressing policemen at Police Training School Manigam in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

“The way militants are attacking the policemen’s families police shouldn’t do the same. They should maintain difference,” she said.
Maintaining that police was facing many challenges, the chief minister asked the cops to “ensure surrender of local militants”.
Houses of several militants were ransacked and family members allegedly thrashed by government forces during past week in south Kashmir.
