Faruq Masudi is an accomplished Kashmiri fiction writer and a formidable experimentalist who has left an inedible mark on the story telling techniques and their impact on the readers., a proud son of Srinagar, was born and brought up in the Valley. He is a graduate of the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, where he specialized in Direction. Over the years, he has established himself as a prolific content creator, having directed and produced nearly 2,000 episodes of television programming for various channels. His repertoire spans a wide array of genres, showcasing his versatility and storytelling prowess.
Masudi’s internationally acclaimed serials “Dastaan,” and “ Chatham” produced for Zee TV, gained widespread recognition for its compelling narrative and impactful direction. Apart from his significant contributions to television, he has also directed two feature films, further solidifying his place as a prominent figure in the world of visual storytelling.
