Remembering her, Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir Pen expressed profound grief, describing Sarala Maheshwari as an embodiment of grace, courtesy and dignity. “She was beautiful not only in appearance but even more so at heart. With a remarkable command over language and a vast reservoir of knowledge, her presence on the Doordarshan screen carried a unique aura,” he said.

He added that she was known for respecting everyone around her and uplifting every space she was part of, both professionally and personally.

The Kashmir Pen team extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Maheshwari family and prays that the departed soul rests in eternal peace. Strength and patience were wished for the family and loved ones in this moment of grief.
