Recent heavy snowfall has blanketed the region, making the roads dangerously slippery and visibility poor.Authorities have advised motorists to exercise caution and cooperate with the traffic management teams stationed at Minamarg and Sonamarg.Kargil Police wrote on “X Platform, stating that due to the recent snowfall and the slippery conditions prevailing at Zojilla Pass on NH-1D, traffic has been temporarily suspended at Minimarg and Sonamarg. Authorities plan to reinstate traffic once the weather conditions improve.
