J&K Students Association here saturday thanked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and his Media advisor Yatish Yadav for making special arrangements to airlift stranded candidates from Gurez valley for JKSSB exams. In a statement Spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami said, we express gratitude to administration for making timely arrangements for JK SSB aspirants who were stuck in Gurez due to snow fall.
He also thanked Lieutenant Governor Administration and Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad for making timely arrangements and for facilitating the sorties. The administration which personally intervened at a very crucial juncture and arranged special air service for candidates has served as noble gesture as the administration has saved hundreds of students careers,” he said.
The resumption of helicopter service and conducting sorties was indispensable for the students who were supposed to appear in the JKSSB exams and other competitive exams. It is absolutely an honour to be lead out of debilitating crisis by aid from revered Lieutenant Governor. The airlift of over hundred SSB aspirants, refuged their future and lent hope into otherwise horrendous situation, khuehami added.
Tribal Coordinator of Association Amir Anees Lone also thanked Lieutenant Governor and Local Administration for their “cooperation and help” in making arrangement and for facilitating the sorties and for personally intervening at this crucial juncture, adding that, the noble arrangement by the administration has saved careers and lives. Helicopter service provide great relief to the stranded students of gurez particularly SSRB Aspirants as they have been waiting for air connectivity, he added further.
