Jammu Kashmir Editors Forum (JKEF) Friday expressed grief over the demise of mother-in-law of senior journalist Zaffar Mehraj and cousin brother’s wife of JKAP leader and editor daily Indian times, Farooq Andrabi.
Khadeeja Begum, mother-in-law of senior journalist Zafar Meraj left for her heavenly abode late Thursday, while Ruhee Jan, wife of Mohammad Younis, who is the cousin brother of JKAP leader Farooq Andrabi.
In a statement issued , the editor’s body has prayed for their eternal peace to the departed souls and stated that they stand by the families at this crucial time.
“The entire forum stands with the families at this hour of grief. We pray to Almighty to grant them the highest place in heaven and courage to the families to bear the irreparable loss,” the statement said.
