Kashmir-based medico Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been conferred with the prestigious International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Fellowship Award.

Hailing from Poshkreri Village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District, Dr Tasaduk a passionate medico is also an educator, researcher and one of the noted health columnists based in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Fellowship was conferred upon Dr Itoo following successful acceptance and approval of the application by the IDF Fellowship Committee.
The IDF Fellowship acknowledges Dr. Itoo’s commitment in promoting diabetes care, education, and advocacy in the community.
Dr Itoo is further affiliated with many prestigious medical organizations including American College of Physicians(USA), Royal College of Physicians of London and Edinburgh, Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India(RSSDI).
Dr. Itoo’s achievement serves as an inspiration to others, and his work continues to make a positive impact on the lives of people in Jammu and Kashmir and beyond.
The title of Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow) is an honorary title awarded to healthcare professionals working in the field of diabetes. IDF Fellows may be called upon to participate in the activities of the Federation, from conferences and research to education and advocacy.
