Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed dismay over chief minister Mehbooba Mufti’s absence from the floor of the assembly.

He said that CM did not deem necessary to assure people of “quick action” in eight year old minor girl’s murder case in Kathua.

Abdullah wrote on Twitter: “It’s tragic that @MehboobaMufti didn’t see fit to come to the Assembly and assure people of quick action in this case”.

Pertinently, the government has ordered a magisterial probe into the murder of eight-year-old in Kathua
