Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and urged him to provide land in Srinagar to set up ‘Maharashtra Bhavan’.

After the meeting, Shinde said, “I had a courtesy meeting with J&K LG Manoj Sinha in Srinagar today. A lot of development and change has happened in J&K. This ‘Maharashtra Bhavan’ in Srinagar will not only provide accommodation facilities to the tourists but also provide a glimpse of the rich art, food and culture of Maharashtra.

This Maharashtra Bhawan can be used as a major center for students, entrepreneurs, senior officials to strengthen the relationship with Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Shri. Shinde has said in this letter.

Shinde is on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. He is accompanied by his son and MP Shrikant Shinde
