Srinagar, May 14 : A man was killed after he was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon on Tueaday evening at Dalgate area of Srinagar while the accused involved in the crime has been arrested.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a man was attacked in the late evening hours of Tuesday at Dalgate Srinagar, leaving him critically wounded.

He added that a man identified as Bilal Ahmad Guroo, son of Nazir Ahmed Guroo, resident of Bemina Srinagar, received serious injuries and was shifted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officials further added that the accused person involved in the crime has been arrested, and police have taken up the investigation.
