MeT forecasts mainly dry and clear weather in J&K till Jan 16

The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has forecasted mainly dry and clear weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir till January 16 in the region.

As per MeT, on January 12, the skies will be partly cloudy, providing occasional sunshine. This pattern is expected to transition to mainly clear weather on January 13, with dry conditions prevailing throughout the day.

“On January 14, the forecast predicts generally cloudy skies, but the weather will remain dry. A slight change is expected between January 15 and 16, with generally cloudy conditions. Light snow is likely at isolated higher reaches during the early morning hours of January 16,” it said.

The MeT further said that from January 17 to 19, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy, without any significant changes.

Meanwhile MET Centre has issued an advisory for tourists, travelers, and transporters to follow administrative and traffic guidelines, especially in regions prone to snowfall.
