Srinagar, Jan 26: Senior Vice President of the Awami National Conference (ANC), Muzaffar Shah, on Sunday extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Republic Day and underscored the significance of the Constitution in ending inequality and empowering citizens.
In his message, Shah said that Republic Day honours a Constitution that guarantees equality and rights to the people, and called upon every Indian to reaffirm that the sacrifices made by the nation’s elders and freedom fighters never go in vain.
Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, he stressed the need for full restoration of the sanctity of the Constitution, describing Republic Day as an important moment for reflection and renewed commitment to constitutional principles
