Nehalpora, 9 November: The week-long Intra-School Premier Cricket Tournament at Nehalpora culminated in an electrifying final today, with Dawood Ahmad War’s team claiming the coveted trophy. Under the expert guidance of their mentor, Mr. Mir Parvez, the team showcased remarkable skills and determination, securing victory against Basharat Ahmad’s team, mentored by Mr. Mir Irshad. The final match kept the audience on edge. Dawood Ahmad War’s team, batting first, set a formidable target of 87 runs in 10 overs. Despite a promising start, Basharat Ahmad’s team lost momentum in the fifth over, finishing at 70 runs—17 runs short of the target.
Salman Ahmad stole the spotlight with an outstanding knock of 32 runs, earning him the Player of the Match and Best Performance of the Tournament honors. His composed and strategic batting proved pivotal for his team’s triumph. Mr. Parvez Mir was celebrated as the Man of the Series for his exceptional mentorship and tactical acumen, which were key to the team’s consistent performance throughout the tournament.
The tournament also highlighted ten emerging players, including Sheikh Mohsin, Salman Ahmad, Usman Ahmad, and Aqib Rashid, applauding their promising talent and contributions to their respective teams.
