Jammu, Aug 22: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today attended the 56th School Raising Day celebrations of Sainik School, Nagrota. On the occasion, he inaugurated the newly constructed ‘TRIVENI’ Girls’ Hostel.

Speaking at the event, Omar Abdullah lauded the institution’s pivotal role in shaping young minds with the values of discipline, leadership, and excellence. He said, “Sainik School Nagrota has been instrumental in nurturing future leaders of our nation. I deeply appreciate the dedication with which it continues to inspire and guide the youth.”

The program included cultural performances and a parade by the cadets, showcasing the school’s commitment to holistic development. The newly inaugurated hostel aims to provide modern facilities for girl cadets, further strengthening the institution’s inclusivity and progressive outlook | Kashmir Pen
