PDP condoles demise of Mohd Yasin Shah Commiserates with bereaved family, prays for departed soul

 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on  Friday condoled the demise of senior national conference leader Mohd Yasin Shah, stating that his demise has caused void Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape at large.

The PDP spokesman expressed grief over the sad demise of Mr Mohd Yasin Shah, former legislator and senior NC leader.

In a condolence message, the spokesman highlighted the role Mr. Shah played for the upliftment of society’s downtrodden and underprivileged sections.  He termed NC leader a role model for the people who aspire to serve the society and represent the unrepresented in the power corridors.

Party has prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members.

Meanwhile the spokesman also expressed serious concern over the prolonged house detention of its senior leaders including party’s vice President Abdul Rahman Veeri, Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura, Sajad Gani Lone,  Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Mohd Khurshid Alam,  Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Aijaz Ahmed Mir, Waheed ur Rahman Parra and others. Party has demanded that these leaders besides those incarcerated in various jails should be released at an earliest.
