PM Modi’s Vision Driving Inclusive Growth in J&K: LG Sinha

Srinagar, June 21: Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday acknowledged the significant role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision in driving inclusive growth in Jammu and Kashmir.

“We are grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for gracing the inaugural ceremony of ‘Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K’ and dedicating a host of projects in critical sectors like Water, Roadways, Health, Agriculture, and more,” he stated.

Lt Governor Sinha highlighted that under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the J&K administration is focused on empowering youth with the skills necessary for a prosperous India (Viksit Bharat). “Today, higher education institutions and government agencies are providing youth with the necessary resources, opportunities, and support to realize their full potential and contribute to nation-building,” he added.

The administration’s efforts aim to equip young people with the tools they need to thrive and make meaningful contributions to the region’s development, aligning with the broader national vision of growth and progress.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday highlighted the significant strides made by the Union Territory administration in building a bright and empowered future for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

“In the pursuit of building a bright and empowered future for our young generation, the UT administration has undertaken a series of ambitious initiatives focused on skill development, innovation, research, and providing them with all necessary support to build start-ups,” he said.

He emphasized that over the past four years, multifaceted strategies have led to notable advancements in youth entrepreneurship. “More than 40,000 youth were employed in government service over the past four years,” he noted.

“We are working with dedication to unlock the potential of our youth so that they can contribute towards the inclusive growth and prosperity of J&K UT,” the LG added.

These efforts reflect the administration’s commitment to nurturing the skills and talents of young people, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the region’s development and prosperity.
