The MeT Department has forecasted possibility of Light to moderate Rain/thundershower over scattered places of J&K during the next 24 hours in the region.
In a statement, MeT said on 4-5th August, there is possibility of brief spells of rain/thundershower at few places during day time with spells of light to moderate Rain/thundershower at many places of J&K towards evening.
“From 6-8th August: A spell of Rain/thundershower at scattered places of Kashmir Division & many places of Jammu Division,” it said
The spokesman said from 9-11th August:A spell of Rain/thundershower at isolated places of Kashmir Division & fairly widespread places of Jammu Division.
The MeT has issued advisory for intense showers for brief period with possibility of Flash floods/Cloud bursts/Landslides/Mudslides and shooting stones over vulnerable places of J&K & heavy Rainfall at few places of J&K during next three days.
