According to officials, demonstrations broke out in the Bemina, Gund Hassibhat and Jehangir Chowk areas of Srinagar, as well as in Pulwama town in south Kashmir.

Large groups of protesters, particularly in areas with a sizeable Shia population, assembled and marched through the streets, raising slogans against the United States and Israel.

Officials said that in certain locations, security forces used mild force to disperse the demonstrators after tensions escalated. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to prevent any further disturbances.
