Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav alias Hussain Mubarak Patel, is a household name in India presently. Opinions are relative, but in the masses he must a national hero. A person allegedly working for RAW, who was arrested in Balochistan, Pakistan over the charges of terrorism and spying. Terrorist, a word far from deciphering whether commendable or condemnable, because the protagonists do not consider people other than Muslims as such. As any other country would have dealt with espionage, Pakistan too did and after putting him through a trial, which he should be thankful for, was sentenced to death. Thankful, because here in India, we have so many cases where the convicts who are incarcerated are yet to know the charges against them, trails are a dream. Cutting down his not so long journey from getting caught and being trailed, we are at the crossroads of him meeting his family members.
Here I, who is not so knowledgeable about how the world politics works, too feel the generosity of the Pakistanis to at-least allow a terrorist to meet his mother and wife. And what was the catch for the media, that his wife was not allowed the sindoor and the mangalsutra. For the sake of being the flag bearers of knowledge of happenings , get yourself acquainted with the fact the she was there to have a glimpse of her accused husband and a romantic interaction would have been the last of her worries. And where in the world do you find people convicted of terrorism and murders , getting hugged by them people coming to meet him inside the prison cell. And then you are offended by the journalists there calling his mother a QATIL KI MAA.
It is wholeheartedly reprehensible. But you people too work at par with them. Seeing the news and the debates where those hindutva goons are the people of hour . You call yourself the largest of democracies, and we see that in the streets where your girls get raped and people murdered over the allegations of love jihad. Is it shameful? Now the other end of this knot. Shaheed Afzal guru, who was a bloke until your government laid their worthless hands on him. Do you remember his countenance? How would you! And how would your democracy. While you should be thankful to Pakistan, try to recall what your people did. His family received the letter informing his hanging after the deed was done. You people actually squint when it comes down to Kashmir. A hard reality but a reality indeed. You spurned his child of his basic filial rights and you talk of justice.
In our eyes it was perjury, a vote-bank political gimmick by the then government. You didn’t hearken to the wails of his wife. How shameful your conduct has always been, that if we start counting, books could be filled by the misery inflicted by your people. I lament for your loss, but ours is monumental. And adding the recent happenings to it. Did you ever come across the fact that kulbhushan was beaten by a fellow inmate ? His video, that surfaced over the internet in which he confessed to the holy treatment he came at the hands of Pakistani authorities. How do you falsify that? Is it censored? Food for thought, sublime your profession. Know your facts well and then start pointing fingers on your counterparts.
