R-Day: Div Com Kashmir Unfurls National Flag at Office Premises

Srinagar, January 26: On the eve of Republic Day, an impressive ceremonial programme was organized by Divisional Commissioner’s Office to celebrate the festival with patriotism and national fervour.

On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from a contingent of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Assistant Commissioner Central, DDP, CPO Srinagar, OSD to Div Com along with other officers and officials of the Divisional Commissioner’s Office.

Addressing the gathering, the Divisional Commissioner highlighted the significance and historical importance of Republic Day. He paid tribute to the contributions and sacrifices of ancestors and citizens in strengthening democratic values and securing peaceful environment.

He reminded officers and officials of their responsibility to remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the nation and its citizens with dedication, integrity, and enthusiasm, while upholding the ideals and value system of service.

Div Com also extended his greetings & best wishes to the citizens on the occasion of the National Festival and stated that Republic Day is celebrated with true patriotic fervour across the region.
