Government Spokesperson Rohit Kansal on Wednesday said the evacuation of the people belonging to Jammu and Kashmir stranded in Haryana began.
He said in a tweet, that all the passengers were being screened at the boarding points and all those who have registered will be contacted by the administration.
“Evacuation from Haryana begins. Ambala, Hissar, Mewat, Yamunanagar- everywhere screening and boarding in progress…looking forward to your return. Others please be patient. Everyone who has registered will be contacted,” tweeted Kansal.
Earlier this day a third special train brought back 1168 stranded Jammu and Kashmir residents from Delhi, while a third flight of Kashmiri students from Dhaka will arrive today afternoon.
