Sakhi-OSC Rajouri distributes personal health care items among people at Koteranka

RAJOURI, MAY 13 2020

On the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohd Nazir Sheikh and One Stop Centre Rajouri and ICPS today distributed personal health care items including masks and sanitizers among the villagers at Tehsil Kotranka in presence of Block Development Chairperson Budhal, Javed Iqbal Chowdhary.

The distribution was done under the supervision of Nodal officer of OSC Rajouri Mr Bilal Rashid Mir.

Speaking on the occasion the Administrator OSC and Legal cum Probation officer briefed the public about various precautionary measures to be taken to prevent the virus infection and advised them to follow the SOPs norms.

Administrator OSC Nitu Sharma said that that the need of the hour is to remain extra cautious all the time to remain safe from this deadly virus.

She also interacted with the women and made aware them about the objectives of the ‘Sakhi’, a one stop centre that provides support and assistance to women affected by violence, sexual exploitation, physical or mental torture, dowry and domestic violence. It also provides police, medical and legal help to such victims. She also advised that they can register their grievances related at 181 and they can also inform their nearby Anganwadi workers if there is any violence against the women.

Moreover the Legal cum Probationary Officer CWC, Shivangi Kant Sudan also interacted with villagers and made them aware about the child and women oriented Schemes. She also advised them to follow the instructions and follow the SOPs to break the chain of COVID-19.
