Srinagar, June 29 : Conglomerate of local militant outfits United Jehad Council has said that Syed Salahuddin is the identity of Kashmir Freedom Struggle.
In a statement to news agency CNS, spokesperson Syed Sadakat Hussain said that Secretary General UJC Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman while addressing a high command meeting said it is unfortunate that Trump administration in order to protect the interests of India has been trampling the international laws. He said declaring Syed Salahuddin a global terrorist is against the world order and UN Charter.
“This declaration tentamounts to rubbing salt on the wounds of oppressed Kashmiri people and strengthening Indian control in Kashmir,” he said.
Appealing international community to reject the US declaration and fulfill the promise of holding plebiscite that it has made towards the people of Kashmir, Rehman appealed people of Kashmir to hold massive protests against the US declaration on Friday post prayers.
He reiterated that freedom struggle will continue till it is taken to its logical conclusion. (CNS)
