National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar, on Monday visited the Sports Stadium at Habak Shanpora to review the progress of the long-pending stadium project.

Accompanied by the Executive Engineer and AEE of the J&K Sports Council, along with other officials, Sagar expressed satisfaction that work on the long-awaited facility has finally commenced.

During his visit, he interacted with local residents who raised the demand for the construction of a marriage hall adjacent to the under-construction school in the area. Sagar assured them that the demand would be addressed at the earliest.

Reaffirming his commitment to public welfare, the MLA said that Hazratbal and Habak Shanpora — “the heart of the constituency” — will continue to remain his top priority in developmental initiatives.
