Kulgam August  4 (PTK) Suspected militants on Tuesday evening shot a Sarpanch in Kulgam district.

Sources told that suspected militants fired upon a Sarpanch, who was identified as Arif Ahmad from Akhran Mir Bazar Kulgam

Sources added that the Sarpanch was shifted to Hospital, where he is under treatment.

Meanwhile whole area has been cornoded off to nab the attackers.

Pertinently, two policemen were injured at Wanpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama District in a militant attack.(PTK)
