SMC to install more street lights ahead of Muharam-ul-Haram

In order to review the arrangements regarding functioning of street lights ahead of Muharram ul Haram , Commissioner SMC Mr Gazanfar Ali held a meeting with the concerned engineering wing in which Joint Commissioner Works Mr Ishtiyaq Ahmed Shah was also present.

It was directed that all the Shia populated areas shall be inspected properly to see whether the street lights installed are in fully functional mode.

Mr Ali has further instructed the concerned wing to conduct survey of these areas and see the requirement of installing more street lights which shall be installed without any delay..

Meanwhile all the defunct street lights shall also get repaired at an earliest where ever required in Shia populated areas.
