Kuala Lumpur | July 11, 2025: Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Hassan delivered a powerful rebuke of Israel during the East Asia Summit in Kuala Lumpur, accusing the Netanyahu-led government of committing genocide in Gaza.
In a strongly worded address, Hassan condemned what he described as decades of illegal occupation and systemic injustice against the Palestinian people. He urged the international community to take urgent action to halt the violence, stating, “Enough is enough—Israel must be held accountable.”
The remarks drew widespread attention and were seen as one of the strongest condemnations of Israeli actions from a Muslim-majority nation on a major global stage.
