A teenage boy from Chandak village of Poonch district drowned in river on Saturday while the rescue operation was launched to retrieve his body.

Officials told news agency , that the boy identified as Umar Farooq, son of Mohammad Farooq of Chandak and aged 17. As per initial reports, the boy was taking bath in river when he drowned. Officials said that SDRF, Police and locals are on job to retrieve his body–(KNO)
